The Reichszeugmeisterei (German: [ˈʁaɪçs.tsɔʏkmaɪstəˌʁaɪ]; RZM), formally located in Munich, was the first and eventually the primary Zeugmeisterei (quartermaster's office), as well as the national material control office of Nazi Germany. It replaced the SA-Wirtschaftsstelle, the purchasing agency of the Sturmabteilung.

Here you will find a list of RZM codes used by German manufacturers throughout the WW2 period. RZM codes were used for identifying the manufacturer of an item and where it was made. This becomes very interesting for us as collectors as we look to collect variations of items solely based on the RZM codes.

From what I found, there were 82 original makers under the RZM code as of 1938 (published by the nazi political party in 1938), and then later in 1938-1939 they added more, but some (numbers 10, 26, 39, 69, 75, 81, 82, 87, 90, 96, 100, 105, 106, 113, and 116) were 'withdrawn' from production permissions.
