2024年6月25日 · Náin I (Third Age 1832 – 1981, lived 149 years) was the son of Durin VI and King of Durin's folk. [1] During his time the Dwarves of Durin's folk lived in Khazad-dûm, but had awoken a Balrog. The Balrog slew Náin's father and was thereafter known as Durin's Bane.

He was the last true King of Khazad-dûm until Durin VII successfully reestablished the realm in the early Fourth Age, over 1200 years later and many years after the War of the Ring.
