2023年1月21日 · Today, I added a new amp to my (small) collection: a Peavey 3120. I'm still getting to know it, but from the couple hours I've spent with it, I'm really glad I picked it up. The Clean channel is more than passable, and the Rhythm channel delivers excellent high gain tones.

2022年6月23日 · Just got NAD 3120 little amp. It sounds good now but has thumb sound coming out from speakers when turning on. Couple questions : 1. Is NAD 3120 exactly identical the same as NAD 3020 except not having tone circuit? 2. Is it worth to recap the entire amp? 3. After recap, sound better or at least as good as original? Thank you.

2015年1月17日 · IIRC the original 3020's boards were stuffed with the cheapest Hu Flung Dung electro caps available to the Taiwan assemblers. I well expect fitting known decent caps would improve these integrated amps. Swapping the mylar greencaps out with PP and PS as appropriate would help also. I have one on the back shelves awaiting renovation one day.... Dan.
