X‐ray powder diffraction patterns were obtained for high‐pressure modifications of NH4F and ND4F under purely hydrostatic conditions. The structure of both salts could be indexed in a tetragonal unit cell, a0=10.2 A, c0=3.37 A. The transition was observed at 3.64±0.02 kbar for both ND4F and NH4F.
