Getting HNO3 from NH3 - Inorganic Chemistry - Science Forums
2012年1月13日 · Calculate how much HNO3 you can get (theoretically) from 1000 cubic meters of NH3. Now, the only way of getting HNO3 using NH3 is this one: 4NH3 + 5O2 -> 4NO + 6H20. 2NO + O2 -> 2NO2. 3NO2 + H2O -> 2HNO3 + NO So I thought I could do it this way: from 4NH3 I get -> 2 HNO3. so, from 89,6 cubic dm of NH3 I get -> 126,0256g of HNO3

Solved Synthesis of [Cr (NH3)6] (NO3)3, | Chegg.com
It is important that the filtering and addition of HNO3 to the solution occur as quickly as possible after dissolving the solid product in HCl to avoid reaction of [Cr(NH3)6]3+ with Cl- to form [Cr(NH3)5Cl]2+. Once the solution is cool, the yellow [Cr(NH3)6](NO3)3 precipitate must be suction- filtered off.
