2008年3月29日 · 2 variants of N62 (successor to M62TU) Valvetronic engine; 315hp 4.4 liter version and the 355hp 4.8 liter version. N62 are mated only to 6-speed automatic tranny. Anyone know when it was implemented in the production run? Seems worse IMO lol... no magnesium diva intake, no dipstick, "intelligent" alternator/battery coding, etc...

2011年4月27日 · my E46 to get a N62 X5 (4.8is or 4.4i). His reaction was like I anticipated. Requires lots of maintenance, etc, etc. I told him I was ready to deal with all those problems, even transmission problems. getting oval toward the top, I became speechless. BMW doesn't sell short blocks, only long blocks, at 20K retail... ouch!

2018年9月1日 · My X5 will usually start and idle (normally), and I have been able to run it into town, usually if I can keep the RPMs under 2500. But if I go over and sometimes on its own, it will trigger the check engine light, VANOS intake Bank 2, VANOS exhaust bank 2 multiple misefires, and specifically misfire cylinder 5,6,7, and 8.
