2017年9月16日 · I'm a relatively new Mythbuntu user, but I've managed to successfully set up the live TV tuner to the point where I can see EPG listings broadcast from the station, however, whenever I try to actually watch live TV, it tries to fire up, but it fails going back to the menu. I'm running on a Toshiba Satellite L300 using the KBA01020 USB DVB-T tuner.

2008年6月26日 · I have a 2.5" 40GB HD (new) in my frontend for mythtv (using mythbuntu). I have before used 7.10 aswell. The following problem is new to the Hardy release. The problem is that kjournald and pdflush is constantly writing to my HD. I'm talking maybe 1-2 times/sec.

2019年10月23日 · Re: Mythbuntu replacement? Just to make life interesting, LinHES (and I suppose Mythtv) are changing from DataDirect-type scheduling to JSON-based scheduling as of Mythtv version 31. Unfortunately, it looks like the only way to scan for or modify channel selection will be by CLI, which will add to the challenges faced by new users.

2009年7月26日 · Hello All, I've been running my mythbuntu box on it flawlessly for a few weeks using S-video, and recently connected it to a regular vga monitor. It booted up with no picture, so I rebooted into recovery and selected 'fix graphical problems.' Following this it booted just fine for the new monitor.

2009年4月7日 · The backend is running mythbuntu 8.10 (frontend is running 8.04). I had been using my oginal xbox to view my movies in my living-room till about a month ago when it dies. So about a week ago I started looking into the idea of using my xbox 360 to watch my movies.

2012年5月15日 · The server is my home theater PC which was installed from mythbuntu 12.04, but my my issue seems to relate generically to samba. I watched processor utilization throughout the test and never saw the samba thread above 25% in htop.
