Een Mobiele Urgentiegroep (MUG) (in het Frans: Service Mobile d'Urgence et de Réanimation (SMUR)) is een gespecialiseerde eenheid die in België ingeschakeld wordt in de Dringende Geneeskundige Hulpverlening (het 112-systeem) en gespecialiseerde bijstand verleent aan het team van een ambulance.

Een mobiele urgentiegroep of MUG is een mobiel medisch team dat dringende geneeskundig hulp verleent bij een ongeval of een ziekte wanneer een patiënt verzorging of medisch toezicht nodig heeft. De MUG is het verlengstuk van de ziekenhuisstructuur waaraan hij verbonden is. De voertuigen voldoen aan federale normen inzake uitrusting.

De oproepcentrale 112 kan beslissen om naast een ambulance ook een team van de Medische Urgentiegroep (MUG) uit te sturen wanneer de gezondheidstoestand van een persoon levensbedreigend is. Het honorarium voor medische assistentie door een spoedarts bij een MUG-interventie wordt volledig vergoed door de ziekteverzekering.
