2014年7月22日 · Mod The Sims (or MTS, as it's sometimes referred to) is a free Sims 2 fansite offering a wide variety of custom content to download, along with an extensive help and tutorial section. The site mainly focuses on creation of objects and downloads.

If you have any uploads at all here on MTS2, you automatically get an orange name, and a little paint palette icon under your name, showing everyone at a glance that you're a creator. You can see an example on Helaene's profile .

update: The OFB lipstick icons now say CatOfEvilGenius @ MTS2 on them. These lipsticks are default replacements of the five OFB lipsticks. They make OFB lipstick look normal, not clown-like, and the transparent versions work with a wide range of skintones.

Mod The Sims (formerly ModTheSims2), or MTS for short, is an online community for The Sims, founded by Delphy in May 2004. Its main focus is on the creation and sharing of custom content, most notably mods. It is also home to forums, contests, and tutorials on custom content creation. Its sister site, Sims 2 Community appeared around July 2005.

Change body shapes and create new clothing meshes. Creation of the sims themselves, including celebrity/character sims. Recolouring and retexturing objects. Creating all new 3D object models and everything related to them. Changing the way objects work. Building the perfect lot or house - all the cheats, tricks, and tips.

MTS2 offers a multitude of tutorials and FAQ's on all forms of modding. We do, however, assume you already know how to make your game and your new custom content work. If you're looking for help on the actual game, go to Game Help.

There will be one .householdbinary file, one .trayitem file, one .sgi file, and two .hhi files. Don't worry if these files have different icons than shown (icon doesn't matter). Select all five of these files. These are the five files that you will need to put into a .rar, .zip, or .7z file to upload to MTS.
