2004年1月2日 · I am looking for a replacement stock for my mossberg model 500A. In the mossberg catalog it only has replacements for the Model 500. With the 500A take a stock for the 500. I assume it will, but I dont want to waste any money. Thanks in advance

2024年10月17日 · Here's how I managed to remove my Mossberg 500's magazine tube without applying heat and with zero damage: I used no heat, since it really doesn't take that much heat to permanently damage heat-treated metal and/or the finish.

2024年12月29日 · I just got a Mossberg 500 with a 24 inch smooth barrel. Will be using for turkey and deer slugs with a max shot of 50-60 yards. I want to get a red dot for it and am looking for recommendations that aren't super expensive. Thanks for any direction

2009年4月5日 · My Mossberg 500 is a 20 gauge, smooth barrel. I like it a lot. Mine came with all the tubes except the turkey choke. As others have indicated, the manual talks about use of the choke tubes. There is even a chart indicating which tube they recommend for each use. They recommend Improved Cylinder for rifled slugs.

2010年11月19日 · Which 500 barrel do you have? You can use standard "rifled"(Foster or Brenneke style)slugs in a standard smoothbore barrel. An IC choke tube will probably work best with most "rifled' slugs. A smoothbore slug barrel usually gives you better sighting options, such as rifle sights or a scope mount, but otherwise is no different than a field barrel.

2017年1月14日 · Mossberg was not exact with those stampings back then, so it could simply be stamped Mossberg 500 ATP or even Mossberg 500. It could not possibly be a "model 590 Military Model" because they were not introduced until 1985 (usually reported incorrectly 1987). The Mossberg CS rep was mistaken because he associated the bayonet lug with the model 590.

I've heard of this issue popping up from time to time on newer guns so I figured I'd post what caused the problem and how I fixed it. The Mossberg's used 3 different style firing pin setups over the years.

2014年3月15日 · The Mossberg 500AB was manufactured from 1969-1973 and sold in Montgomery Wards, Sears, and perhaps other stores as a hunting model with a upgraded walnut stock & forend, a 26"/28"/30" blued fixed choke barrel, and an etched bolt and lifter. I believe I can see the scalloped bolt and lifter on your Mossberg 500AB when I magnify your photograph.
