2021年7月8日 · I'm somewhat tempted by the Grit also... for the price it seems like a great deal. Last spring I bought a Mongoose Tyax mtb from Amazon and am really impressed and happy with it. From what I could find, the one size fits all is approximately a 21" frame with a 30" standover in the middle and is 34" at the headtube.

2013年8月6日 · The mongoose is basically the most affordable (or cheap) mountain biking solution. Its a hardtail and the frame is definitely its strongest point. The Element fork is made of steel making it very strong. Although it has some play when you squeeze the front brake and rock the bike back and forth, it does what its meant to do.

2009年1月3日 · Actually there are some things that require clarification. Mongoose, GT, Schwinn, and Cannondale are all owned by the same company. The stuff you see at Wal Mart may wear stickers that say Mongoose but it is a completely unrelated line manufactured in Asia then given the decal treatment.

2010年12月2日 · Overall, for the money, my new Mongoose Deception 29" mountain bike is all I need for the kind of riding I do, which is mostly bike trail cruising and neighborhood riding. I purchased my bike at the local Wall-mart store. Take note that I had to make some changes to the bike before I could comfortably enjoy the ride.

2009年6月17日 · Well, i was sort of intrested in swapping my Diamond Back VCF Vertex frame wich i have had since 97, to something titanium. I came across this one on Ebay, Mongoose Pro Titanium. No information about the age of it. Said to be Sandvik custom drawn 3Al/2.5V titanium, according to the seller. Anyway...i won the auction and paid 460$ for it today.

2013年5月26日 · I apologize, my bad. When somebody says Mongoose I immediately think Walgoose disposabikes! I actually had a what I'd call a "Shop Mongoose" back around 1995 and it was a decent MTB. I'm still riding a Mongoose Pro Titanium Road (circa 2000) frame that I built up with Ultegra and it too is has been a good bike.
