Aug 12, 2018 · Both are good. I prefer the .2 mil wind holds and floating dot of the mil-C, but the mil-R is a decent reticle as well. Reticles tend to be personal preference, although there is definitely a common set of features that is becoming more popular in the LR shooting community.

Jun 10, 2022 · Mounting an NXS 2.5-10x42 on my 6mm creed Barrett Fieldcraft and want folks opinion on these two reticles. I’m definitely more familiar with MOA than I am with Mil. That said, I think I like the center portion of the MIL-R reticle more and I’m open to adjusting/learning, since it seems that the overall market is moving more towards Mil.
