The MG SV was a limited production series of sports cars that were introduced for the 2004 model year. The SV was developed after MG had purchased Qvale, and decided to build a sports car on the Qvale Mangusta chassis. These cars were offered in a coupe body style, and were powered by a Ford V8 engines.

This 2005 MG XPower SV is a left-hand-drive example and one of 42 R variants produced for a single model year. It was delivered new to B.V. Automobielbedrijf Charles Serry A.C.C. in Hilversum, Netherlands, before it was sold to its first private owner in 2008.
