I need a quiet, mechanical keyboard. Looking for suggestions
2023年2月13日 · I have a Code Keyboard with cherry clears. With a few modifications, it's pretty quiet: - Mechanical Keyboard O-Rings (this reduces the "clack" when the key bottoms out) - Drawer liner cut out to bottom of keyboard (goes below the PCB on the bottom of the case) With the above 2 modifications it's not completely silent, but pretty dang quiet comparatively.
How are mechanical keyboards a thing? Shit is just too loud.
2022年6月8日 · I've got a topre keyboard that has a pretty pleasant thock sound to it, bust it out occasionally for work (software dev). Rarely use it nowadays, though. I got a Logitech MX Keys keyboard maybe a couple years ago and honestly prefer the feel of this to every mechanic keyboard I've tried.

Keep your keyboard at a comfortable angle...mechanical helps a bit as I find I can be really gentle on the keys, but that part is probably personal preference. Either way, breaks and overall posture.
