2020年9月15日 · I can't really make a comparison, I bought a Sub2000 directly from Mcarbo with all the upgrades installed, don't know what it feels like without them. However, it is a blow-back 9mm that only weighs about 4.5 lbs, so any little bit should help. Posters on the Mcarbo forum seem to think it makes a noticeable difference.

2022年12月27日 · KelTec sells MCarbo's receiver cover, as well as their optic mount. Might look @ the heavier bolt weight, as well. The recoil is noticeable w/ such a lightweight gun. The SUB is about to rotate off truck gun duty for house duty, getting replaced by a Fold AR.

2024年2月11日 · ETA I bought one of the MCARBO flip to side optics mounts for the gen 2 and it seems to work okay. But it really ruins the nice flat folded profile. My gripes with the gen 2 are that the upper pic rail should extend all the way back as close to the breech as possible, and that the stock iron sights are about 1/4" too low to shoot comfortably.

2020年3月12日 · I've used my SUB for years now to sail past legal no pistol signs that would otherwise make me choose between risking my CHL or going unarmed. When my middle girl turned 18 - SUB-2000. She has purses big enough to carry it anywhere, and needs no license to do so. The only competition in this legal niche is the Fold-AR at twice the price.

2020年8月15日 · I have a Gen 2 with MCarbo upgrades and still hate the damn thing. The recoil with my face on the tube is worse than AK slap. I’d rather shoot my PTR 91 all day unsuppressed or maybe my 1895G than that Sub 2000. When it’s suppressed it’s even worse.

2024年9月1日 · A Sub-2000, Smith FPC, Ruger PC Carbine and Trailblazer Pivot (to name a few) are niche firearms - PCCs that stores in a reduced space. And due to the ability to be stored in a reduced space, may be available when a non-folding/breakdown firearm is not available.

2023年7月25日 · Got mine a few months back. Set it up with Mcarbo tube cover and Amazon butt pad. American Defense QD riser mount, Vortex crossfire 2. It has zeroed at 50 and 25 and will stay in a 2 inch bull's eye all day at 25. Looking at over 1k rounds now with no malfunctions. May invest in Mcarbo feed ramp and trigger but not ready yet.

2019年3月22日 · After handling the Keltec Sub 2000 (Sub 2K) I decided to get the MCARBO peep sight. Wow, it is a world of difference. The original 3/32” aperture is just impractical And useless. Apart from the covers for my bolt tube/bolt handle, RDS, light, buttstock buffer pad, and Extendo magazine, I’m good to go.

2024年7月20日 · The Sub trigger is close to that. I wish S&W would make a Glock mag version of their FPC. It fixes all of the issues of the KelTec for less than the cost of KelTec+all the MCarbo stuff. The FPC has a great trigger, less recoil, comfortable cheek weld, folds with a red dot mounted, and feels more like a quality firearm. Takes M&P double stack mags.
