Maultier (English: "mule") or Sd.Kfz. 3 is the name given to series of half-track trucks used by Nazi Germany during World War II. They were based on Opel, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo or Ford trucks.

The original plans included an order for 8,500 Maultier vehicles, later orders were to increase to 90,000 vehicles. Two institutions worked on the construction of the tracked part of the chassis. The first was Opel, but the competing design was the Waffen SS technical department.
