This plywood does not share the same characteristics of being void free as normal "marine" plywood does, but it's still a marine plywood.

It has far fewer voids than exterior ply, waterproof glue, and a beautiful one side finish. It is also called sign board and used by sign companies for exterior signs.

It will not cause the galvanic corrosion issues that you WILL experience using regular outdoor treated plywood. This is the right plywood to use and does not require sealing. You do not want to seal the bottom due to moisture trapping issues.

(IF all the penetrations are sealed) There are many types of marine plywood though. Pontoon decking is a marine plywood that's CCA treated and aluminum safe, it's not the green ACQ treated stuff from Home Depot that will eat your boat.
