The car towards the end of the movie where all the lost kids and max climb in the boot is a 1959 Chrysler Royal. Many of the custom vehicles were scratch built, using only the basic shells of the original vehicles.

It seems that most vehicles weren't really damaged in the film, and might still be around somewhere. This is especially true for various hotrods and custom vehicles that were seen at various points - surely some of these are still around!

2024年6月30日 · Here are some of the most memorable cars Max has driven in the Mad Max movies: 1974 Ford Falcon XB Sedan (Mad Max): Max's first vehicle in the series was a yellow, red, and blue patrol car for the Main Force Patrol. It had a 351 cubic inch Cleveland V8 engine and was one of the few cars that wasn't wrecked onscreen.

There are over 50 total vehicles in Mad Max. Many can be seen driven by Scrotus's threatening War Boys as well as other factions. Each vehicle group has a certain style, meaning The Buzzards which are loaded with spikes for a high defense.

2021年2月27日 · This car was supposed to be used by Max to catch up with Wez speeding away in stolen Humungus' vehicle, in the final scenes of Mad Max 2 (before they changed the script on the fly during filming). It's probably the reason we see it next to Max in the opening and closing shots of Mad Max 2.

While fairly distinct from the other cars, this vehicle apparently does nothing special in the film - probably because the major stunt sequence involving this vehicle was cut from the final film. It was meant to jump through the air, over the railway tracks in the final chase, but the jump went too high and was not used.
