2023年10月20日 · He says the keyboard works correctly (ISO) on his Mac, even though the icon in keyboard layouts is the wrong one (ANSI). It should look like yours (ISO). But when typing in Windows, his keyboard reverses the two keys at the top left and bottom left corners, which is typical of Windows thinking the keyboard is ANSI instead of ISO.

For example, the ¿ and ? keys are shown on the top right of the keyboard but are actually produced by the bottom right keys. I'm running Mojave with the keyboard preferences set to European keyboard.

2023年5月27日 · Every keyboard layout has 3 forms: ANSI, ISO, and JIS. The OS is supposed to determine which form of hardware keyboard is attached and use the right layout for that. Sometimes it fails. The "Brazilian" layout in its ANSI form matches the poster's hardware keyboard, but the OS mistakenly thought the hardware was ISO and used that form instead.
