2023年3月14日 · Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world, with an estimated 77,000 Canadians living with the disease. While it is most often diagnosed in young adults aged 20 to 49, younger children and older adults are also diagnosed with the disease.

The MS Society of Canada has continued to invest in MS research to accelerate our progress throughout the pandemic, despite decreases in incoming funds raised. In 2021, the Society announced over $2.6 million dollars in funding for new research and awards.
