2018年1月30日 · No, I am not 100% sure. In the video the Swedish guys said that it was a "professional saw and did not come cheap at $1500 Euro". All I did was find the equivalent in US currency. When I bought my MS 461 (2) years ago, it was $1032.00, out the door, on sale, so I was expecting $1500 or so, but $1800 is a lot!

2020年11月10日 · Some muffler combinations I've been trying on a stock 462 with a West Coast Saw foam air filter being the only other modification. The stock unmodded muffler with the buckshot cover brings the most power in my opinion thought I'd share.

2016年1月27日 · I’ve not ran a 500i but I have a 462. As a matter of fact I have a 241, 261, 362, 462, 461, 661, and Hooskie 395. The 241, 462, and 661 aren’t ported. The rest are MMWS saws. I have contemplated selling the MMWS 362 to fund porting the 462 and maybe the 661. I think for your purposes, the 462 would work best. Still not sold in the FI model ...

2020年11月28日 · Local dealer isn't really "in to" saws, and alot of times don't have much in stock. Only cutting about 10-12 cords a year between 2 saws so it's really not critical to get another air filter yet. I seen a couple U tube vids where people had K&N filters on 462 , but they must have made their own adapter or something.

2016年10月25日 · Any spikes from 1122 series and the 440 roller catch is what I run on the 462 and MS500. 1122-664-0501 Outer 1122-664-0506 Inner MS500i with 0501 and 0506 spikes. If you order this part number for the 462R clutch cover, it comes with the 1501 spike pre-installed. Well, at least it did for me here in the EU. #'s 6, 9 and 18.

2018年7月20日 · Bottom line, the 462 s/b a great saw for someone looking to run a 20 or 24" bar. (No it is not really a 25" bar, just compare it to a 20" bar and that will be obvious. The reason Stihl re named it 25" (same specs as the old 24") is because the 28" bar is really a 27" bar, and they don't want you to realize that.
