Montana Rail Link (reporting mark MRL) (now operated by BNSF as the MRL Subdivision) was a privately held Class II railroad in the United States. It operated on trackage originally built by the Northern Pacific Railway and leased from its successor BNSF Railway .

We found this spot after the coal train, and, instead of waiting, we drove to the other end of town, just to see the train coming! We jumped on I-90 and hauled butt back to this spot, narrowly making it!

2015年10月19日 · Brand new MRL SD70ACe No. 4300 has been cut off from a westbound BNSF Railway grain train in Elliston, Mont., after helping the train over Mullan Pass. Montana Rail Link Even though MRL SD70ACe No. 4303 is almost new, it has received a healthy accumulation of road grime in Mullan Pass helper duty.

2005年9月8日 · MRL 4300 (SD70ACe) should be into Missoula on Thursday afternoon with MRL 4301 coming in on Friday. Expect the rest of the 4300 - 4315 group to be arriving from painting at CEECO in Tacoma in the next few weeks. The primary assignments will be on the Helena and Livingston helpers and the ML/LM trains.
