MPX bolt issue - Topic
2018年3月29日 · I had an issue with the MPX not going into battery, the bolt would stay about 1/4" open when charging or when using the bolt release. I cleaned and lubed the gun and fixed the issue, however now the bolt is getting "stuck" on something as it passes the back edge of the magazine if a loaded mag is in. Of no magazine is in, the bolt moves smoothly.
My MPX has failed... I figured it out - Topic - SIGforum
2018年4月8日 · Ive had the gun for a while, and it ran 100% until the last three trips. 2 trips ago, on its first failures, I started to get a couple double-feeds or failure to extract stovepipes. A couple times, the casings would go back behind the ejector and "lock" the bolt to the rear. Failure rate was about 1:15. I was shooting all Federal 100 round packs
MCX and Suppressor Light Primer Strikes - sigforum.com
2018年8月2日 · While the MPX is not the same as the MCX, both use a bolt carrier, a rotating bolt and a movable firing pin. A friend asked me to look at his MPX which was failing to hit the primer hard enough at random. I found the firing pin channel was plugged with black gunk which prevented the firing pin from fully going forward to hit the primer.

2021年11月1日 · Hi folks. I need to know how to remove the part that holds the recoil rods and recoil springs onto the bolt carrier on a gen 2 mpx. I think Sig calls this the OP Rod. It looks like there is access to a pin or screw up through the bolt carrier from the …

2017年9月30日 · Purchased my present GEN 2 MPX (have several 20 + 30 rnd GEN 2 mags) Nov.2016 Did some plinking w/ it thru the winter, then finally used it at several USPSA matches here in Maine. Seems i could not finish the match at the last 2 stages. Seems gun would double feed or FTE about 125 rounds into match. Using 124gr Federal or ZQI bullets.

2024年3月17日 · I sbr'd a cmmg banshee and sig mpx. Both shoot softer than my PSA blowback AR9. The Banshee is trilug and mpx is direct thread because the handguard is longer than the barrel. Right now we both prefer the Banshee since it has the stock. The MPX still has a brace and it's too short. Looking into selling the brace and buying a longer stock.
MPX Bolt Carrier loose "gas key" - Topic - sigforum.com
2020年2月14日 · I recently inherited a 9mm MPX. While cleaning I found that the piece that attaches the operating rod to the bolt carrier is loose (it's analogous to an AR gas key, not sure what the proper name is).
Comparing a Sig MPX Gen I to a “Gen III”, with pics - Topic
2021年6月17日 · -Bolt: the Gen I had a 5 lug bolt. The Gen IIIs had a 4 lug. -Bottom of upper receiver: the Gen III has a longer portion in the front, and there is now a small cutout in this portion. Also a reinforcing plate added on the bottom right at the ejection port. -Top rail: the Gen I has a traditional pic rail. Gen III has a scalloped rail.
Colt 9mm AR VS newer 9mm carbine options. - Topic
2020年4月16日 · Jumping into the deep end first with the “MP5s” and later the MPX really ruined me on the blowback action of most AR pattern PCC and on the Scorpion I rented. That big heavy bolt rocking back and forth is way more noticeable than the roller delay of the MP5 and the gas system of the MPX. The MPX feels like a .22 compared to the Scorpion.
MPX K iron sight recommendations - Topic - SIGforum
2020年6月30日 · MPX's and MCX's do have a higher top rail compared to an AR due to the dual recoil springs above the bolt carrier so standard AR sights are further from the bore than on an AR. Hence the Troy Micro suggestion. Nice benefit is an absolute cowitness red dot riser should end up as lower 1/3rd with the Troys.
