2020年9月3日 · Keep at it with the c11, you need to have perfect conditions both wind and seeing to utilize prime focal length. If you like a challenge that is going to give you what you are after. If seeing is mediocre and its windy, good news is the transparency is likfly great so the 400mm will be a great option.

2020年9月3日 · Your post and image of M57 got me thinking about getting better shots of this target. Lots of people do wide panoramic shots of colorful nebulae with their 50 to 80mm scopes but don’t go for the smaller stuff that requires more aperture and focal length. Your big scope is a great instrument for planetary nebulae and galaxies.

2023年5月31日 · M57, while a simplistic and often described as a basic planetary nebula, has an outer shell tahat is not often captured. I was especially glad to capture it under my Bortle 7 sky with not-so-great seeing & transparency. It took 30 hrs of data with narrowband filters on my C11", but I got a decent image.

2020年4月30日 · Bonjour à tous, Nouveau venu dans l'astrophoto, j'ai imagé pour la 1ère fois M57 avec la ZWO 385 au foyer du C11 à 1764 mm de focale. Nuit du 26 au 27 avril 2020, expo de 150 ms (turbulence oblige), gain à 450, brigthness à 150, pas de filtre.
