The 8-inch Howitzer Motor Carriage M43 was an American self-propelled artillery vehicle built on a widened and lengthened medium tank M4A3 chassis, but with a Continental engine and HVSS that was introduced at the end of World War II.

Howitzer Motor Carriage M43 were self-propelled artillery vehicles based on major components of the medium tank M4A1 with the Continental engine and HVSS suspension. The M40 Gun Motor Carriage was designed to replace the earlier M12 Gun Motor Carriage.

The Semovente da 75/46 was an Italian tank destroyer in service during late World War II. A derivative of the Semovente da 105/25 self-propelled gun, it was produced in very few numbers and used by Nazi Germany in the Italian campaign.
