Is M4/T26 really better than M4A3 (76W)? I feel like it might be ...
The M4/T26 more mobile than the M36B2, as that one has a 410 horsepower engine and weights 29.9 tons, but it also has HEAT-FS (the M4/T26 doesn't even get APCR), which means it can actually take on any tank it can possible face from the front.
Why do you think the M4/T26 has remained at 6.0? Do you think …
I regularly do we well with the M4/T26 so i personally feel its good where it is particularly in ground AB as the turret usually can tank a hit from a tiger or panther giving you time to line up the perfect shot on them.

[Development] M4/T26: a “Sherman” and a half : r/Warthunder
2023年6月7日 · Given that every single tank that should have 460 horsepower ends up with 400 horsepower (because Gaijin just hates the R-975-C4 engine), I expect the exact same thing to happen to the M4/T26. Reply reply
Taking bets on M4/T26 (USA) being nerfed to a higher BR, from
2023年5月23日 · The M4/T26 is very similar to the T25 and M26. It mounts the same 90 mm M3 gun, and I believe the same turret as the Pershing. However, it weights significantly less than either tank, while maintaining the same HP. This will make the M4/T26 have a much better Hp/t ratio (nearly 15 to 33% better when compared against the T25 to M26 respectively).

Yeah, the T25 is outclassed by its peers at 6.3. But it's still the better choice compared to the M4/T26 imo. Slightly better mobility (notably the reverse), lower profile, slightly better hull armor (I think), and most important of all, it doesn't look like an elephant-penguin hybrid from that Family Guy cutaway jok

Is it just me or is the new M4/T26 extremely over tiered?
2023年7月31日 · Is it just me or is the new M4/T26 extremely over tiered? All Ground Large, poorly armored, unstabilized, and with only an ok gun and mantlet to work with. 6.0 seems really high for this tank, especially when the M36 is all the way down at 5.3 while being very similar, only really having the weakness of being an open top.

Which engine is the M4?T26 using? Is this a unique engine?
2024年5月27日 · The base hull is an M4, and originally built as a 105mm howitzer variant. Not to be confused for the M4A3(105) we see in WT, this being an M4 means it's using the Continental R-975 radial engine just as the x-ray shows. Here's the real tank, with a handy description. The engine deck is consistent with a radial-powered variant as well, and the ...
