There are the 'older' adjustable gas standard m249 barrels, the newer fixed gas standard barrels and the fixed gas para barrels they are pretty much all around $200.

2022年5月19日 · The M249S para barrels are pin and welded to get to 16”. M249 Para barrels seem to be threaded 9/16x24 and require a specific muzzle device to clear the gas plug. If I cut and thread an 18” 5.56 barrel to ~ 14”, will I need to adjust the gas to run a silencer on full auto? I’ve found a source for 300BLK M249 barrels.

2019年12月11日 · Just my humble experience is that the zero's on the LMG's (M240 and M249) were at best simply a estimate. The BDC's and zero's were always off "further out." It was better than nothing and the Army insisted on doing it that way. With my own guns I would ALWAYS shoot to atleast 100yds (200yds mostly) to get a good zero for "further out."

2019年12月28日 · All of the military m249 para barrels I've seen are the 9/16-24LH threads... that said I think that some of the factory M249s para guns were coming with a para barrel that was actually threaded to 1/2-28RH threads. Let's say you can get a can on it though, all the para barrels have the newer non adjustable gas block.
