These Cedar topped lyres combined with Fluorocarbon strings provide a versatile toolkit to explore different tunings and pitches. These feature the same hide glued tops as my more expensive lyres but have a machine-routed body from a solid plank. Wooden pegs as standard, harp pins or gut strings are also optional.

We have included a 3/16” drill bit in this kit for drilling tuning pin holes. Please use this new bit, not another 3/16” bit that you might have in your shop, because it is important to have the zither pins fit tightly so the instrument stays in tune. Drill each hole just 7/8” deep, not quite all the way through the instrument.
