Taako was born on a purple-skied, two-sunned planet and had an identical twin. Lup, his Twin, was assigned male at birth, but at a fairly young age she transitioned, and identified as a female elf. Throughout their elf childhood Taako and Lup got passed around. They stayed with their aunt and she taught Taako how to cook.
