2018年4月10日 · I really liked the aesthetics of the new technology and the politics of Republic city and it was overall a good show, but the characters are the reason I watched LoK once and was done with it, while I've seen ATLA several times.

LOK has better animation, more developed villains that are actually human, deeper character arcs, and expands on the original with cool new ideas. Most people say they hate Korra cus she's bratty. But her character really evolves.

And some of its animation and storytelling is more consistent than in LOK On the other hand, LOK has better animation, and at times the plots are very interesting and intriguing.

2012年7月4日 · It is very clear that the Animation quality in Book I of LOK far surpasses, Book I of ATLA, with the same being true of the Music and pretty much the production value as a whole. The Korra vs Tarrlok fight can be seen as the best example of this where the animation quality and music are just brought together perfectly and stand leagues above ATLA.

It was never just a defense mechanism, it’s the Avatar fully connecting with Raava and accessing her power as well as the memories of their past lives through her. In ATLA, it’s used as a defense mechanism/extreme emotional response because Aang is a child who has no control over it.
