The Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove Development Association is a resident-based, non - profit corporation that develops economic, cultural, social, recreational, and environmental projects which encourage a sense of community and enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages.

Logy Bay, Middle Cove, and Outer Cove. The area was within the boundaries of lands granted in 1610 to the London and Bristol Company, and it is possible that the sites were used by fishermen in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Permanent settlement did not begin, however, until the early 1800s.
