Loch Moy (from the Scottish Gaelic Loch A'Mhoigh meaning the Loch of the Plain) is a freshwater loch beside the village of Moy near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.

The start and end of this circular walk are rather dull, along the roadside pavement in Moy, but the spectacular walk along the far side of Loch Moy more than makes up for this.

Upon the island are the ruins of a rectangular house mislabelled as a castle by the Ordnance Survey since the 19th century.

2021年7月10日 · A trip to Loch Moy Have long tried to see Loch Moy, which is barely visible from the A9 and, incredibly, even less so from the minor road that leads to Moy itself. This time we planned to walk in a loop above the loch but in the end elected to circumvent the entire loch itself.
