2016年9月1日 · The Lifchik was developed during the last years of the Soviet-Afghan War as the Soviet Army's answer to the Chinese-made rigs often used by both Soviet and Afghan alike during the war. These were most commonly used during the First Chechen War before being replaced by more tactically-evolved equipment in the late 1990's.

Put 1 and 1 together (The fact that there are tons of Veshmeshok's that can be used at donor material and that Lifchik's command a high price) and you can understand why nearly all the Lifchiks sold here and on ebay are fakes.

2020年11月22日 · First, is a real Russian Type II Lifchik chest rig dated '88. There are a lot of fakes out there of this chest rig. Has great stampings on the back. There is a small section of adhesive on the back where it looks like some tape once was. I'm sure this can be removed I just never got around to doing it. All the leather tabs are in great shape.

2010年5月12日 · An Absolutely Mint, Never Used Type 2 Soviet Lifchik Chest Rig. When I acquired this Rig, the Shoulder Straps and Shoulder Pads were not even installed. I don't think a Magazine has ever even been inserted into it.
