Jul 15, 2020 · PSD does the math to make sure you either take all your leave or sell back the leave days you’ll have over. Can’t do it in NSIPS because say you’re taking 30 days of leave, you’ll have 2.5 more days by the time leave us over that won’t be accounted for.

Jul 9, 2023 · I think you have to go in through the e-leave inquiry screen, select the leave chit that's pending, then the cancel button should be at the bottom. You'll need to put a reason in the reason block before it'll let you submit the cancelation.

You are starting terminal leave and have a few weeks left. When ever it comes up just say you are starting your terminal leave in accordance with your leave chit. The only person that can cancel is the CO and that would be RARE. If you piss off your CoC then yea the CPO may actively work on getting the leave shortened or canceled.

Apr 17, 2022 · Why are you doing paper leave chits when eLeave has been a thing for 10 years? Just update your leave routing chain and you're good to go. But if for some reason you absolutely have to do a paper chit, the form is called NAVCOMPT 3065 and can be found through google. But I still don't see any reason why you're not using eLeave.

May 12, 2023 · On the leave chit write “See attached” in the reason for leave block. Get a routing chit from admin if you can. The routing sheet should have blocks for who the chit gets routed to - fill in positions of everyone in your CoC all the way up to CO on the top block. Hand the entire package back in.

Leave can take longer if a units schedule or manning balance needs to be considered, so it's not normally held to the 72 hour rule. BUT, as someone below said, only the CO can disapprove a request. Everyone in the chop chain should make a timely recommendation (explaining and justifying any "no" in detail) and send it up.
