LASCO was a leasing subsidiary of the LS&I. Here LASCO 2016 it was on lease to the Utah Railway, at that railroad's Provo yard. This locomotive was built for the C&O and was transferred to the B&O. LASCO RSD12 2016 with Sanata Fe RSD15's 9822 and 9823, all on lease.

1853, RSD12, was built by Alco in April 1956, #81946, as C&O 6703, Class MRSA-18. It was reclassified as Class RSD12 in 1964 and renumbered 2010 in 1967. It was transferred as B&O 2010, Class RSD12, on September 12, 1969, and sold as Lasco 2010 on March 3, 1972.
