Lake Elmo is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 11,335 at the 2020 census. [3] According to 2022 census estimates, the population is 13,449. [4] Much of the area within the city limits is still farmland, giving the city a rural appearance.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a 2,165 acre park which offers a wide variety of terrain, including forest and prairie. Park facilities include modern and equestrian campgrounds, picnic areas, a fishing pier, a boat launch, and a sand bottom, chlorinated swim pond.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve has a fishing pier on the southwest side of Lake Elmo. There is also a motorized boat launch with 20 trailer spaces available if you are looking to launch a boat. The launch is open to winter access and has open speed from noon to sunset.
