2014年1月25日 · lt1 makes a great swap engine since it's really the same form factor as any smallblock chevy the '94 electronics are really easy to work, clean up, and convert to standalone/pre-emissions for such a swap, or you can just buy one already done from painless or whatever. that ecm is also stupid cheap to tune, if you wanted to learn to do it yourself.

I have been told by others that have done it,,,,the front K-member is different for LS1 cars and is required for any 97 and back LT1 car if an LS1 swap is in the works. I also know the complete computer and wire harness is needed for the swap. All accessories as well.

2022年1月3日 · The steam pipes are essential for the LT1 because of it's reverse cooling system. This system is why a LT1 can run 10.5 to 1 compression ratio on pump gas. Not having the steam pipes can actually cause a melted piston, especially on back cylinders.
