Nov 1, 2024 · So when I had my Fluval Flex 15 I kept 3-4 Goni's with no issues, they were thriving and I wasn't dosing anything. It was mostly a LPS tank with some zoas and 1-2 monti. I also ran a macroalgae refugium which i've read depletes is very quickly. I upgraded to a 65G system at the start of the year and have gotten no polyp extension from my Goni's.

Jan 5, 2020 · What should a good phosphate level be for a mixed reef be (SPS,LPS,&softies)? My phosphate levels were around a 0.15ppm and I was told that was to low so I brought it up to a 0.30ppm but I think that’s to high. What should it be around?

Nov 18, 2018 · I have been battling to get the phosphates down recently and just started running GFO in a reactor. Phosphates were up as high as .49 as of a week ago. Every one of my corals (LPS, SPS, Zoas, Mushrooms) as well as my anemones seem perfectly happy. Should I just strive to keep my phosphates in place or should I really lower them.

Jul 17, 2023 · So I was beginning to think I had a fever dream about reading that people cut sweeper tentacles of some of the more aggressive LPS but I finally found a few comments about it. Is this an option? I don't have an issue with sweepers at this point but I do have chalice and a bubble coral so I know it'll become an issue at some point.

Jan 14, 2021 · Such as LPS corals can handle greater PARs up to 500, and soft corals will adjust to PAR over 200 with adequate time to adjust so they can adapt to a wide range of lighting over time. The lighting schedule can also play a huge role in the success of the reef aquarium regarding PAR levels.

May 1, 2022 · So I have 2 Noopsyche K7 V3's about 9" above the water and have a mixed reef tank of SPS/LPS/Mushrooms. These lights are awesome in case anyone was wondering. What I need help with is the settings. Coming from the Current USA IC light, which I like but not for growing SPS, I'm hesitant to use the LPS/SPS setting on the controller.
