This LEGO model is meant to capture the M7 train paint scheme of yellow and black from the Long Island Railroad. This model is minifigure scale and contains passenger seating with an area to place luggage.

2024年8月20日 · The MTA a very consistent style of stations between the Metro North and Long Island Railroad. This specific train station design was heavily inspired by LIRR stations on the Babylon Branch. The symmetrical nature of the station along with a wide sloped roof and narrow waiting rooms is what inspired me to create a LEGO design for it.

The model is an exact replica of the LIRR Oyster Bay yard limits which begins as LIRR Mile Marker 33 and ends at the water's edge on the eastern edge of Oyster Bay. It is built to a scale of 1:87, which is HO scale, the most popular model railroading scale.
