2017年1月31日 · dual dimmer he's talking about is a decora type with two sliders that look like a full size slider split in two and gives you independent dimmed circuits. I have both a regular and C-L Credenza cord dimmer for testing purposes. To save yourself time, do the testing on bench whenever possible. If they get along, they work as you would want them to.

2014年3月24日 · I think that the main reason for the limit of 150W for LED/CFL is that the non-linear load of the driver circuitry will look like a peak catching diode capacitor load, and the semiconductors in the dimmer will be heated much more by the pulsed current drain than they would be by a more uniform RMS current over the full cycle.

But a friend who does commercial tells me the 8 amp dimmer should work because the contactors provide the necessary amps, not the 8 amp Lutron dimmer. I was wondering that bec the 3 existing switches were all powered by one circuit which is not nearly enough amps for the whole gym.

2020年11月18日 · LED drivers can be really finicky, in that they can react to very low levels of leakage current that gets through solid state devices (like triac based dimmers), usually though snubber circuits. Some manufacturers have figured this out, some have not, both from the LED driver standpoint and the dimmer standpoint.

The LED light trim kits I use are 9 or 10 watts each. So I put 12 can lights on one dimmer, (80 % of 150 W) But before LEDs, we could only put 7 lights.

2023年12月19日 · Hello I installed Led lights that are dimmable. I used the dimmer switches that the manufacturer suggested. The switches, lights and panel made a buzzing sound after the install was complete. One of the the circuits actually kept frying the dimmer switch that I was using as a three way. There was a configuration for the three way application.
