Plaquemines LNG is under construction 20 miles south of New Orleans. Once completed, it will export at least 20 MTPA of LNG from a 630-acre site along the Mississippi River. Strategically located with deep-water access, it will help meet growing global energy demand while creating economic opportunities in Louisiana.

KBR and Zachry Group will together, through a joint venture, as KZJV, execute the development, engineering, procurement, and construction under the EPC contract for Phase 1 of Plaquemines LNG. KZJV will integrate highly modularized, owner-furnished equipment for the 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) nameplate facility.

We are constructing and commissioning a liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction and export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, south of the city of Lake Charles. Once complete, the plant is expected to have an export capacity of least 10 MTPA.
