2018年12月4日 · We ended up with Kunekune X Mangalitsa crosses this year. We got 2 very healthy gilt pigs at 8 weeks old in April and had them butchered on the November 1st. Live weight was around 300lbs for each and a hanging weights were 197lbs and 199lbs.

2021年11月20日 · We raise KuneKune and American Guinea in the forest. Over time they have gotten mixed because, well, they are pigs, horny as can be and escape artists. We love the combination too. It was an accidental thing but was fortunate in our case and use KuneKune and coyotes: A single coyote will have a problem with a single mature KK pig.

I am one of the 1st in Ohio to practice early weaning many years before early weaning was even a thing with the help of a very good vet. Goal 10 lbs at 10 days of age but never kunekune.
