Kud-Ei is an Argonian and resident of the town of Bravil. She serves the Mages Guild as head of Bravil Guildhall. She carries a leveled longsword strapped to her waist. Kud-Ei is also a journeyman Illusion trainer.

Through a Nightmare, Darkly is a quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Kud-Ei asks the Hero to help free her friend Henantier, who is trapped. If they agree, they are led to Henantier's house, where Henantier is asleep.

Speak with Kud-Ei, an Argonian in Bravil's Mages Guild, to learn about her missing friend Henantier. It turns out he is not missing at all, but he has been experimenting with dangerous magic against the regulations of the Mages Guild. This could get him expelled, so Kud-Ei does not want to seek help through regular channels.

Various NPCs in Bravil will point you to Kud-Ei, the steward of the local Mages Guildhall. A friend of hers has gone missing and she's trying to find someone who is willing to find her friend. If you are in the Mages Guild, you'll have to get a recommendation from Kud-Ei and you'll see the "Kud-Ei" topic in her dialog options.
