Ozarks Public Television (OPT) is the region’s PBS member station, and includes full-power stations in Springfield (KOZK) and Joplin (KOZJ). OPT was created by the community – born out of a grassroots effort to provide a home in the Ozarks for television programming that informs, entertains, and inspires.

Ozarks Public Television is the Missouri State licensee for KOZK-TV, channel 21 in Springfield, Missouri and KOZJ-TV, channel 26 in Joplin, Missouri. As a university licensee, KOZK's studios and offices are located on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield.
