KONAKION is used to prevent or treat blood clotting problems and works by reversing some of the causes of excessive bleeding. In adults, this risk of bleeding is usually caused by too much medication which prevents blood clotting (known as anticoagulants) such as warfarin (Coumadin®, Marevan®).
