Maureen was involved with the Koi Hai booklet from its early days. Peter and Maureen left Assam in the mid-70s upon his retirement and settled in Shillong. Maureen took an active part in the social life of the town until she became unwell and eventually bedridden some years back.

The 2022 Koi Hai Lunch was hosted by our Editor Denys Shortt OBE at his premises in Banbur - DCS Group UK. Over 30 people gathered for the lunch and the day was full of sunshine. Visits to the Tea museum, a curry lunch and lots of talk on Assam!
