Kitt Azer is the former Crown Prince and current King of Ilya. Kitt's mother died in childbirth, making him Kai's half-brother as they share the same father only. Unlike Kai, Kitt was raised by a much nicer version of their father.

Kai Azer is the younger son of Edric Azer, the king, and thus a prince of Ilya. He was trained rather brutally by his father to become Ilya’s future enforcer. He has killed dozens of Ordinaries and starting involuntarily with Paedyn's father at the age of fourteen.
