2021年9月19日 · New owner of a 2021 TRD Pro. First upgrade is King 2.5s in the front and back. I just had a few questions before I start getting ready to do the install. Although I’ve done most all the upgrades on my previous vehicle (2014 FJC), I’ve never done a suspension install so figured I would come here first just for some clarification on some steps.

2019年3月6日 · These are the front Shocks. You can see at the bottom with all other King 3.0 series shocks, the adjustment collar is at the bottom. This made for very easy adjustment. I was able to max out the preload with the shocks on the truck without much difficulty. King says you can get 1.5-2.5 inches of lift on a 2016+ tacoma.

2017年3月2日 · People pay over $1,700 for King shocks, are they really paying for quality or is it more paying for the brand? My understanding is all front shocks are similar in how they lift the truck; using a certain amount of pre-load. I paid maybe $700 for both front Bilstein 6112 shocks, apparently less than the cost of 1 King shock.

2022年9月15日 · Wanted to update the thread for anyone who is interested, spoke with King today and I can simply buy a new rod end, spherical bearing, snap ring and spacer and thread it right on to the FJ shocks and mount it onto the Tacoma 25005-001 Lower Rod End b1058 Spherical Bearing cr2251 snap ring 25016-006 spacer
