Balouie is the slash ship between Baloo and King Louie from the The Jungle Book and TaleSpin fandom. While he was bonding with the "man-cub" Mowgli since Bagheera abandoned him after the boy refused to follow him to the man village, Baloo was suddenly assaulted by a group of monkeys kidnapping Mowgli by carrying him through the trees.

Kahl animated Louie's interaction with Mowgli, Thomas did his solo song and dance portions, while Lounsbery animated his memorable scat duet with a disguised Baloo. A slightly different version of King Louie appears in Disney's 1994 live-action film, portrayed by a trained Bornean orangutan named Lowell.

By the time of the film's follow-up story— More Jungle Book... Further Adventures of Baloo and Mowgli —it is shown that Louie, Baloo, and Bagheera have become good friends following Mowgli's return to the Man-Village.

" I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song) " is a song from Walt Disney 's 1967 film The Jungle Book. The song was written by songwriters Robert and Richard Sherman, [1] and was performed by singer and musician Louis Prima as King Louie, with Phil Harris providing additional vocals as Baloo the bear. Louie is a fun-loving red orangutan who owns the island nightclub and motel Louie's Place, located near but outside the protection of Cape Suzette. It also serves as a refueling station/pit stop area for pilots. He also has an aunt named Louise L'Amour.

2016年3月19日 · Bagheera and Baloo arrive at the palace, unseen and try to plan a way to rescue Mowgli, but the catchy beat of the song distracts Baloo and he wanders off dancing. Soon, however, he appears dressed in banana skins and coconut shells posing as a female orangutan which fools the King.

As King Louie's kingdom falls apart, Mowgli escapes with Baloo and Bagheera, leaving King Louie within the ruins of his fallen empire. He is not seen again throughout the rest of the movie after this. King Louie was originally planned to appear in the sequel to the movie.
