2024年9月28日 · I currently have a Kicker comp c 10. It's powered by a Kicker 500.1 amp. I'm trying to determine if it's worth it to switch the sub for a JL 10W1v3-4. The sub is in a down firing sealed box with 0.74 cu ft. The vehicle is a crew cab Silverado. I just swapped all the other speakers out with JBL stadiums. My goal is better sound quality.

Make sure you do a proper large custom ported box and get a good amp.

2019年6月6日 · My son had a Kicker 12” CompR that went up in smoke. It was one of the ones in their prefabbed preassmbled enclosures. Id like to reuse the enclosure. What is the best way to get the sub out? Doesn’t appear to be any screws, at least visible. Help please!

2011年4月4日 · You never mentioned what line from each of those manufacturers, either way, I'd take a low level Sundown over the top of the line Kicker. Kicker was great 10-15 years ago, long before real companies like DC, Sundown, IA etc learned how to build a better sub. Companies like Kicker, RF, Alpine etc are focused more on profit than quality.

2007年4月25日 · Thats an extremely broad question, but overall I would say kicker. But I also own kicker amps and kicker ss speakers. I would however LOVE to get some of the alpine pdx amplifiers. Also when you get up into alpines f-1 status stuff that is a whole different story.
